The Saudi state-run SPA news agency said Wednesday that Saudi Arabia will temporarily shut down its oil facilities in Abkai and Kurais, which were attacked by drones from Yemen rebels.
Saudi Arabia's energy minister Abdul Aziz bin Salman said the oil plant had shut down its oil facilities.
He said the oil supply shortages would be replenished with stockpiles during the outage. He also said that petrochemical feedstocks such as ethane and natural gas will be cut by half.
Aramco, the world's largest oil company and Saudi Arabia's state-owned company, also released a press release, saying, "We are repairing the facility to restart."
It was reported that there were no fire damages at the two facilities in the drone attack.-GoodmorningKorea Editer
